Synchrophasor was initially deployed in transmission systems and bulk power systems. However, as utilities strive for the ambitious goal of climate neutrality, significant changes are occurring at the grid edge. These include more distributed energy resources (DERs) and storage, more customer-initiated demand response and more EV charging points connected to the distribution system. Consequently, there is growing interest in deploying PMUs at the grid edge to analyze grid unbalance, detect instability and monitor DER generation. These PMUs are also known as distribution PMUs (D-PMUs) or micro-PMUs (μPMUs).
The underpinning of synchrophasors is a high-speed communication network that connects PMUs to PDCs at different locations. There are three major challenges in deploying synchrophasors at the grid edge:

In many chronic wounds, a problem with slow or absent epithelial edge advancement is caused by the clinical condition we know as epibole. Epibole refers to rolled or curled-under closed wound edges. These rolled edges may be dry, callused, or hyperkeratotic (a thickening of the epidermis, the outermost layer of the skin). Epibole tends to be lighter in color than surrounding tissue, have a raised and rounded appearance, and may feel hard and rigid.
When the upper epidermal cells roll down over the lower epidermal cells and migrate down the sides of the wound instead of across, the result is epibole. Edges that roll over ultimately cease migration once epithelial cells of the leading edge come in contact with other epithelial cells on the sides of the wound. In other words, the body thinks the wound is healed and epithelial migration across the top of the wound ceases.
The music video to this song, directed by David Mallet, shows prisoners attending an AC/DC mini-concert at their prison. One prisoner is being dressed up to get ready for the band to play the song. Guards shave his head nearly bald, leaving hairs that make up AC/DC's logo, the one similar to the cover of the band's music video tape, Clipped. The video was filmed at Bray Studios (UK), with those portraying the prisoners having responded to an open invitation broadcast by Tommy Vance during his Friday Rock Show on BBC Radio 1 a few days earlier. Respondents were instructed to make their way to Baker Street in London, where they were issued their 'uniforms' and transported by coach to Bray.

Edge devices are network devices with local compute and storage capabilities that can securely transmit data between local networks and the cloud. Cloud connectivity allows manufacturers to manage runtime, firmware, and software for large numbers of edge devices in the field from a central point of control. Edge devices are typically located in production environments. As gatekeepers between the information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) worlds, they are critical building blocks in the IIoT landscape and drivers of IT and OT convergence.
