Authenticity, what does it mean? For me, being Fearlessly Authentic means that you are crystal clear on who you are and wake up everyday knowing what your purpose is in life

When you are Fearlessly Authentic, life becomes more enjoyable. You learn how to say "NO" to things that do not bring you joy or any closer to crushing your goals or align to your values and priorities. This leaves you saying "HELL YA" to everything else that does.

Embracing who you are is a journey, one that may need to be revisited many times. My goal is to give you a roadmap so that you can embrace this journey to become Fearlessly Authentic with easy steps to follow.

Authenticity, what does it mean?

Brené Brown author of The Gifts of Imperfection says, “Choosing authenticity means

cultivating the courage to be emotionally honest, to set boundaries, and to allow ourselves to be vulnerable, exercising the compassion that comes from knowing that we are all made of strength and struggle and connected to each other through a loving and resilient human spirit nurturing the connection and sense of belonging that can only happen when we let go of what we are supposed to be and embrace who we are”.

As you outlined your values, priorities, and goals, you will notice that your true self will naturally emerge.

  2. Highlight values that you identify with

  3. Narrow your list down to 10 values

  4. Again, narrow your list down to 5

  5. And Again, to 2 values

Step 2 Defining Priorities


Our lives today are busier than ever. So often, we hear how setting boundaries and saying “no” is crucial to living a successful and happy life.

Having a clear idea of your priorities and goals becomes so much easier to be able to "NO", and "Hell Yes" to the important projects and activities in your life.

How to Define Your Priorities

  1. Grab something to write with and find a quiet place where you will be undisturbed for 10 – 15 minutes.

  2. Close your eyes and picture that you have lived a long and beautiful life; your friends and family are gathered around to celebrate your life. It is time for three people to speak about you.

  3. Write down who is the first person to come up and speak and what they say. Do this again a second and a third time.

  4. Now write your three priorities based on your answer above. Click here for examples.
