5 Easy Smoothies That Will Excite Your Taste Buds

Smoothies are a staple for me, quick, healthy and a great way to add in water, protein, and veggies. Here are my favorite Smoothies and Gear:

Green Detox:

1 green apple

A handful of frozen pineapple

1 teaspoon of fresh ginger

1 teaspoon of fresh parsley

pinch of Cayenne pepper

Juice from 1/2 lemon

1 rib of celery

1 mini cucumber

Handful of spinach

Vanilla protein powder

8oz of water

 

Blueberry and Pineapple:

A handful of frozen blueberries

A handful of frozen pineapples

Vanilla protein powder

8oz of water

 

Chocolate and Cherries:

A handful of frozen cherries

Chocolate protein powder

8oz of water

 

Coffee:

1 frozen banana

2 shots of espresso

Vanilla protein powder

8oz of water

 

Orange Creamsicle:

8oz of Orange Juice

Vanilla protein powder

Cup of ice


 

The Blender

I currently use the Kitchen Aid blender I got when we got married 10 years ago, but I’m not going to lie I am waiting for the day that sucker dies so I can get either the ninja or the Vitamix (it will come down to how much I have saved). From everyone, I have talked to both are great.
