How to Unleash Your Greatest Self

Updated: Aug 4, 2020

Hello, My Friend,

Thank you for stopping by! I am so happy that you are joining me today because this is my favorite topic!

I believe that each one of us can accomplish great things with our life. One of my favorite quotes is

"Reach for the moon. If you miss, you'll land among the stars."

What does this quote mean to me? Dream big, like stupid big. If you don't reach your goal, you have still done amazing things.

For years I was afraid. I was worried that my dreams were stupid, that they were too big, that I would fail. For what? Fear, the shame of what other people would think.

I made myself small; I did what they wanted. Guess what! The only person I hurt was myself. That's right; I missed out on my dreams because I was afraid of failure. Here is my second favorite quote

"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."

You are in control, and it is time we all stopped dreaming and start living!

  1. Close your eyes, imagine that nothing was holding you back, not time, money, or experience. Make a list of EVERYTHING that you would want to do. Go Big. Like crazy Big. For me, that is to be a New York Time’s Best Selling Author. People, I could barely pass English in high school. Grammar and spelling are not my friends, and my family laughs when I show them anything I write (usually because of the spelling), but with all my heart, it is something I am dreaming of.

  2. Write down your purpose, values, and priorities. Highlight any dreams on your list that support your purpose, values, and priorities.

  3. Narrow down your list to 10. What would make you happiest? Bring you fulfillment?

  4. Choose one goal to work on NOW.

  5. Create a three-step plan. Don't get lost in all of the small details, don't worry, those will come, or maybe they won't. The exercise is to get you closer to your dreams.

One day when I start working on my dream of becoming a New York Time’s Best Seller, this is what my three-step plan will look like:

  1. Write the book (set a deadline!)

  2. Create a book proposal

  3. Find an agent

You got this! Believe in yourself, because I do. I know it in my bones that you are meant for amazing things, and I, for one, want to see you fly.

XOXO

Sabline
